About BENEVENTO

Benevento is an independent family workshop founded in 1989, dedicated exclusively to the most demanding discipline in classic menswear: the tailored trouser.

For over three decades, we have honed a single craft — cutting, constructing, and finishing trousers that unite the relaxed elegance of Neapolitan tailoring with the disciplined precision of Central European craftsmanship.

Our Philosophy We view the trouser as a foundational garment — never an afterthought, but the anchor of a considered wardrobe.

Each pair is engineered with meticulous sartorial architecture: a traditional curtained waistband (cinturino sartoriale) that molds to the body, clean split-back waistbands for ease of alteration, extended closures, and hand-finished details. From high-rise double pleats and side adjusters to our signature Gurkha waistband, every proportion is drafted to achieve an unbroken, elegant drape.

The Cloth The drape is only as good as the cloth. We source exclusively from storied European and Japanese mills:

  • Flannels & High-Twist Wools: Vitale Barberis Canonico and Drago (Biella, Italy)

  • Heavy Corduroy & Drill Cotton: Brisbane Moss (Lancashire, England)

  • Pure Linens & Seersucker: Heritage Irish mills (Ulster) & premium Japanese cottons

The cloth dictates the cut, ensuring every fabric hangs with the weight and drape it was intended to have.

Made in Poland Every pair is cut, tailored, and inspected in our own workshop in Poland. We do not outsource. We do not mass-produce. From the first strike of the tailor’s chalk on raw cloth to the hand-stitched bartacks, the entire process remains under one roof.
